Someone better listen to her doctors and Mom’s and really take it easy or she’s going to be in real trouble!
This morning the misses goes in, again, to hopefully just have a tube inserted to drain some swelling. Meanwhile Lorenzo and I will be in Boulder until around noon. I just can’t get out of these 2 appointments unless she goes to surgery and then I’ll cancel.
Another shooting, this time in Wisconsin with a deranged domestic terrorist guy (so they say) at a Sikh temple. This is terrible and our hearts go out to the victims and their family’s.
Yesterday was a rest day. Somehow I missed the first pre season football game on tv. Where were ya on that one Uncle T? Oh well, the Broncos are on Thursday night. I made some sea bass for dinner which was good and healthy. I also reorganized our kitchen drawers and took everything out, cleaned them, and then lined them with drawer liner before putting just what we need back. I then sharpened every knife we own and made sure to tell the misses to be careful as she’s prone to cutting herself from time to time.
Earlier in the day I took the oldest guy school shopping. He picked out about 6 shirts, a new pair of shoes and a few items for his room. He found a “desk set” which included a pencil/pen holder, a paper organizer, a trash can and a white board. We also bought a clothes hamper (much needed) and a neat pillow with arms for sitting up and reading in bed. He was pretty excited and cleaned up his room and desk getting ready for school that starts two weeks from today. Late this afternoon I’ll take the youngest for his turn.
Lorenzo flies off to Chicago this afternoon to spend a few days there before heading back to New York. Lot’s of work going on but I’ll spare you the details.
I’m also going to stay away from politics except for Harry Reid. Here’s a guy citing “un-named” sources saying Romney has never paid taxes. Meanwhile Harry has never released a single page of his tax returns and lives in the Ritz Carlton in Washington D.C. on our dime. He spends less than 1 week a year in his supposedly home state of Nevada! It’s clearly an organized ploy from our Commander in Thief’s campaign. I mean “un-named” sources, come on, give me a break. Ok, enough for the day.
